Political Action Committee (CDBIPAC)

Charlotte DeSoto Builders Political Action Committee focuses on electing candidates in local and state elections who support economic development. Along with the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA-PAC), CDBPAC screens and endorses candidates who support and recognize the importance of home ownership and home building as an economic force within the community.

Contact Suzanne Graham for more details on how to get involved with a team that is making a difference in shaping home builder-focused legislation and pro-growth government initiatives.

Let’s face it, you must be a part of the decision making process that is happening at the Capitol. Join forces with the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA), your leading builder advocate, to fight unnecessary fees and seek ways to stop burdensome regulations.

Each year the FHB PAC continues to advance its mission of fighting unnecessary fees and seeking ways to stop burdensome regulations. Through the FHB PAC, we have seen positive results.

In particular, we pursued issues during the 2016 Legislative Session that saves you money and increases your bottom line, such as: Workforce Taskforce, Uniform Implementation Workgroup, Reinserting the Shower Pan Exemption, Blower Door Testing, Fire Distance Separation and Zero Lot Line, Sadowski Funding, Accountability for Permit Requests, and more. These victories were the result of intense lobbying efforts, that required us to leverage leadership relationships.

The goal of the FHB PAC is to continue to make a positive difference in the business environment in Florida’s building industry. With the help of donations from supporters such as you we will continue to see improvements.
